Playthings not only can make infants happy,but also have much effect on infants' development.For example,they can exercise infants' body,promote infant's cognition development in sense,memory, language and thinking and so on,foster and change infants' personality.,and play a most important part in children's communication among companions.Because of the limit of infants' age,parents become the main chooser and purchaser of playthings.Above all,it is very important to research how to choose and use infants' playthings.In order to know the actuality of infants' parents how to choose playthings and how playthings are used,the research methods adopt questionnaire and interview.Investigation indicates that parents who choose playthings for their infants have these problems. Though most parents have recognized the importance of plaything to infants' development,they are partial to the function of intellect exploitation.And parents know little knowledge about the safety of playthings in some extent.There are also some problems in the course of using playthings.First,parents like playing with their infants,but they haven't enough time.Second,it is improper to instruct their infants how to use playthings,and infants seldom take their playthings to kindergarten.Third,infants haven't formed the habit of cleating up playthings after playing.Fourth,parents haven't enough attached importance to self-made playthings and substitute playthings.Aim to those problems,the author takes some strategy which includes these aspects:Firstly,family and kindergarten collaborate,change parents' idea which leans to playthings' function of intellect exploitation;Secondly,nail down the standard of playthings choice,help parents to master the method of choosing playthings; Thirdly,know infants' age development characters,and give infants proper plaything's using instruction;Fourthly,ensure playthings sanitary and safe when infants playing;Fifthly,create environment to help infants form good habit of tidying up his/her playthings after playing;Sixthly,take proper attitude about infants' breaking playthings;Lastly,make use of "informal playthings".
