The Study On The Problems Of Vocational Guidance System And Countermeasures In Higher Vocational Colleges

The vocational higher education has contributed much to the process of popularization of higher education.A vocational college graduate has much trouble finding a job because of soaring graduates number and the limitation of higher vocational colleges,which makes the career guidance stand out in the vocational college education.The vocational college career guidance does not rest on one section or an educator in charge of career guidance in higher vocational colleges,and even one systematic course on career guidance can not be helpful to resolve all the problems related to the vocational college graduates career ascertaining or employment.This paper holds that the vocational college career guidance should be an integrated system existing in the whole educational process,which requires both proactive involvement of all personnel in higher vocational colleges and quite a lot support from outside such as family and society.This paper consists of five chapters:Chapter One introduces the purpose and significance of this subject,defines related concepts and reviews the present research on this subject;Chapter Two describes the theoretical basis for the polytechnic career guidance system,introduces two major theories on career guidance and states the significance, characteristics,principles and limited factors of the polytechnic career guidance;Chapter Three begins with a review of the history of career guidance in our country and then analyzes the present big problems in the polytechnic career guidance;Chapter Four narrates the practical experience of the polytechnic career guidance in western countries.To make a conclusion,Chapter Five puts forward some suggestions and measures toward perfection of the vocational guidance system.Besides the conditions of perfect career guidance organizing system and related software and hardware equipment,we should perfect career guidance operating system,cultivate high qualified career guidance educators and establish an effective career guidance evaluation system.
