The full, free and harmony development of personality is the ultimate goal of higher education. Subject personality, as an important characteristic of one's full-round development, is especially crucial in higher education. College students' subject personality is the unique personality quality as an activity subject is a combination of psychological quality and behavior character such as independency and go-aheadism in their living and studying. However, present researches on college students' subjective personality are mostly theoretical analysis, lacking quality research and proper measuring instrument. Therefore, it is of great importance to organize a questionnaire on college students' subject personality to explore the status and get to know the component and characters of their psychology and behaviors of employment integrity in order to provide gist to education.Based on overviews of former researches and open-ended questionnaire, this research analyzed the college students' subject personality status and compared which on background variables. This research also studied the relationship between college students' subject personality and parental rearing method. Several suggestions are proposed to educate the subject personality of college students. Through analysis and discussion, the main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Subject personality questionnaireThe self-made questionnaire has good reliability and fair validity. By using the factor analysis, the college students' subject personality is of six factors: subject, responsibility, independency, forecast, confident and persistency.According to the result, this research further confined the college students' subject personality as a unique personality quality, a combination of psychological quality and behavior character such as independency and go-aheadism in their living and studying. Subject personality has six dimensions including subject, responsibility, independency, forecast, confident and persistency. (2)The status of college students' subject personalitya. the level of college students' subject personality is overall medium higher level.b. the mark of overall questionnaire and on responsibility and independency factor have significant discrepancy. Generally speaking, female have higher mark than male.c. College students' subject personality has significant difference in different major on subject, independency and forecast factor. Generally speaking, students majored in art have higher mark than those who majored in science.d. Students from different birth place various a lot on the confident factor. Urban students have higher average mark than rural students. Gender variety is not significant.e. Grade is a factor which affects subject and responsibility. Freshmen are significantly more subjective than the fourth-grade students, and freshmen are significantly more responsible than third-grade students.f. There are no differences about subject personality in different academic certificate and between singleton and non-singleton students.(3)the relation between subject personality and parental rearing methoda. College students' subject personality and parental rearing method are significantly related.b. Regression analysis revealed that parental overprotection and emotional-warmth can forecast College students' subject personality level.
