In order to investigate the variety of task value and achievement goal orientation before and after course elective, in addition to the influence of task value to achievement goal orientation in the process. 240 university students accepted the open questionnaire investigation. In the base of the result of open questionnaire, an initial questionnaire with 125 items is worked out. Then 697 and 507 university students accepted the next step investigations. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis are tested to workout the final questionnaire, which is made up of 4 parts 52 items in all. They are"achievement goal orientation before elective","task value before elective","achievement goal orientation after elective","task value after elective". At last, questionnaire method is used on 746 university students to get the result of the variety of task value and achievement goal orientation before and after course elective, in addition to the influence of task value to achievement goal orientation in the process.The results are the following 5 points.⑴Questionnaire task value and achievement goal orientation in the elective of the university students been worked out in the research is testified superior reliability and validity. It can be used to test the relationship of task value and achievement goal orientation.⑵the results of confirmatory factor analysis shows that achievement goal orientation is consisted by performance-approach goals, master goals and performance-avoid goals 3 factors. Task value is consisted by individual value, someone else value and cost 3 factors. The models both turn to be reasonable and valid.⑶Before and after course elective, achievement goal orientation is testified to be a dynamic variety process. After elective, performance-approach goals are lower than before elective notably; master goals are not different notably; performance-avoid goals are higher than before elective notable.⑷Before and after course elective, task value is testified to be a dynamic variety process. After elective, individual task is lower than before elective notably; someone else value is not different notably; cost is higher than before elective notable.⑸No matter before and after elective, individual value influences performance-approach goals and master goals chiefly; cost influences performance- avoid goals chiefly. Besides cost, before elective, some one else value influences performance-avoid goals chiefly; after elective, individual task influence performance-avoid goals most.
