Information technology has been applied for more than twenty years in basic education in our country. It has also developed rapidly in recent years. At present, there are many problems existing in the process of integration of information technology and subject instruction, the integration has now reached a plateau and the integration effect is unsatisfactory. As a result, people will turn pale at the very mention of "integration" and even hid the defects for fear of criticism and improvement. Therefore, the integration is urgently needed to develop the new from the old. " To seek the right occasion for the integration of Information technology and subject instruction" is not only the starting point of this thesis, but also the final result of this thesis .In other words, it is a significant clue of full text, it also dominate the entire process of drafting and determine the direction of the research.Firstly, the thesis summarizes the information technology and its applications in education. Based on the educational information angle, this paper discusses the process of subject instruction and further demonstrates the connotation and the essence of the integration. The author considers that we can find commonalities and the point of penetration between information technology and subject instruction only after the research based on the characteristics of them; Secondly, from the four dimensions which is the knowledge, experience, values, curriculum design, the author have discussed about the general principles of integration; Lastly, from the four levels which is instructional objectives, instructional resources, instructional environment, instructional activity,this article tried to dig out the right occasion for the integration and to prove it with typical cases. The body part is well larded with a large number of cases and cases analysis which is not only a strong power to strengthen the author's standpoint but also make the theoretical research have good practicability and maneuverability.The innovation of this text manifests in different angles and research thoughts. This paper have mainly adopted the literature research method, case study method, observation research method. This article holds the view that the basic starting point of the integration is to promote all-round development of students. If we have realized the importance of three-dimensional instructional objectives in instructional design, have made good use of various of instructional resources, have created a instructional environment which is full of warmth, and have organized effective instructional activity, the optimal effect of integration will come true.
