In modern society, with the development of science and technology and fierce international competition day by day, the cultivation of talents has put forward higher requirement. To train and bring up a generation of a new type with good science accomplishment has already become an important goal of educational reform of all countries all over the world. The course reform of physics of new round in our country requires physics teaching to pay more attention to students' cultivation, to make students grasp thinking and methods of physics study in practice, to train students'practical scientific attitude and initiative and exploratory spirit and to improve further students' scientific accomplishment.The paper deals with the basic principles of training students'exploratory ability in physics teaching of high school and the teaching methods on the basis of the study of students'exploratory ability, combining the actual teaching cases. In practical teaching, teachers adopt different teaching modes according to different lessons types, thus not only can we teach students'physics knowledge but also train their exploratory ability and let them learn about the scientific attitude, consciousness and values. Meanwhile, I made follow-up investigation and analysis into the effect of teaching practice, carried on the thinking of practical teaching and put forword the valuable suggestions based on it. I hope the paper can give some advice on physics teaching reform in high school.
