| Since the new fundamental education was initiated in 1999, as well as the new curriculum standard was established, whether they have played an important role in teaching practice has become a key in fine arts class teaching. This paper elaborates on the fine arts class teaching in the last period of compulsory education (junior school period), adopting the methodology such as literature review, comparative analysis, observatory research. By analyzing the results of fine arts class teaching, it found out some of the disadvantages, for instance, too much emphasis on theory; over-high starting point; too-slow development; the lack of the research of the essential problems. Moreover, the paper analyzes and summarizes the objective and content criteria by putting forward the researching problems. The author understands the current teaching situation of fine-arts class by observing class, interviewing teachers and analyzing the students'works, she also points out the main problems in the current fine-arts class teaching in accordance with the fine-arts curriculum standard in compulsory education. At last, the author asserts that the normal fine-arts education should fuse with fine-arts design concepts, and combine closely with the process of fundamental fine-arts education in order to focus on the practice of normal fine-arts education. She also believes that we should make clear the relationship between the basic knowledge, skill and class teaching from the fact that they are the main proof, rather than the final goal. Furthermore, we should combine the teaching design and exploring course resources in textbook analysis and research; we should also stimulate students'interest in learning fine-arts through stressing arts experience and promoting their physical and psychological health. Last but not least, we should broaden the ways for fine-arts class teaching by advocating the combination of museum education and class teaching as well as exploring the new forms of fine-arts class teaching. |
