Research On Ideological And Moral Education Of Teenagers In The New Period

The teenagers are the constructors of our nation's future, the successors of the socialism career with Chinese characteristics. Now. , the population of the teenagers below 18 years old is in the vicinity of 367 million. Their moral conditions have a direct relation with the whole Zhonghua people's quality, the future of the nation and the destiny of the people.During this new period , our politics and economy is undergoing all-round a great change and the economic globalization develops very fast. All the above things , on one hand , create broader room for the teenagers' all-round development, on the other hand , bring great negative influence to the growth of the teenagers . for instance, part of the students in the middle and elementary school face a slope in the aspect of moral conditions, the disconnection between the moral cognition and moral conduct, the ever-decreasing sense of collectism , weaker social responsibility, the tendency of hedonism and consumerism , weaker faith towards ideal, the diversity of the world value and life value. All of the things show that enhancing and improving the teenagers' moral conditions is an important and urgent task.This article is trying to analyze and study the problems concerned during the education of the students in the following aspect. In the first section, it illustrates the new situation we face and the significance of the moral education, which provides accurate background for the research of the article. In the second section, through questionnaire among the students in the middle and elementary school and analysis of the questionnaires, combined with some research material, it summarizes the current moral situation of the students. In the third section, it tries to find the reasons of the problems so as to lay foundation for the same kind research. In the fourth section , on the basis of the things mentioned above, combined the aims and the principles of the moral education , it suggests that during the new period the moral education need to change concept, enrich the contents, develop new ways and methods.
