| As raising the concept of state management according to law, Socialist legal system has improved dramatically in recent years. Especially the concept that market economy should abide by the law reflects the great influence which the law exerts on the social life. Although lots of work has been done, it is still a long way to run before we make the legal system perfect.Only legal education for college students, which is of great importance to the improvement of national legal system, can cultivate the legal citizen effectively and permanently. Therefore, legal education for college students, the effects of which can't be replaced by the corresponding education from parents and society, has a much more great significance on the grounds of an increasing necessity for legal construction and education. Generally speaking, legal education for college students is an effective method for promoting legal sense, for cultivating legal citizens, for diminishing the crime behavior of youth and for college students adapting society.Basing on the data from my survey conducted in two Xi'an universities, the thesis analyzes some specific problems in present legal education for college students and gives resolutions, which aims at strengthening the legal education for college students. Combined sufficient research and survey data's analysis, I discuss the problems existed in orientation, awareness and construction of legal education. Then I demonstrate some resolutions, including construction of legal education system, effective methods of cultivation, improvement of course design, favorable atmosphere for legal education and available practice participation. Considering many shortages in present research, I would like to put forward some suggestions to the reformation of legal education for college students by my study on the operative process of legal education system.
