To any nation, the culture means everything in their life. The Phu Thays in Jinlong, with a population of 17,000, inhabit Jinlong Town along the Sino-Vietnam border. Jinlong Town was divided by China, Vietnam in history. After the foundation of People's Republic of China, the Phu thays in Jinlong were identified Zhuang Nationality. Because of special living environment and historical background, the Phu thays have their own traditional culture festival, NONG DONG. The NONG DONG festival is the traditional festival of the Phu Thays, also the most mportant festival in one year, with special locality and obvious characteristic of nation.Taking Jinlong asa case, I tries to describe the Phu tyays'activities of amusing the god and people in Nong Dong festival. Through discussing its important function and significance in coulture communicaion of country ethnic group, and analysing its characteristics.of.reverence,good relations of neighbourhood and opening, the paper concludes that we should base ourself upon cultural diversity, give more developing space and warm help to national custom and culture, so that which can get rid of the stale, take in the fresh and keep on evolution.
