In general, holiday education has been regarded as one of the most significant components to social education area of nursery school, while there are considerable significances and implementation for children’s development to participate holiday events through holiday education. According to diverse phenomena of recent research in nursery school’s holiday education, the researcher intended to study in3questions extensively and professionally, including1. The current situation of recognition by teachers in nursery school;2. The current implementation of nursery school’s holiday education by teachers;3. Factors and issues which are able to impact the recognition and implementation of holiday education, by using three different methodologies and approaches(e.g. questionnaires, interviews, and case studies). Furthermore, according to4directions of nursery school’s curriculum theory, including targets, contents, methodologies and approaches, the argument above has been further discussed, and feasible suggestions and proposals have been provided to improve holiday education of nursery schools. The outcomes of research can be concluded as below:1. Although the importance and significance of holiday education to the development of children in nursery schools already have been noticed, there is still a ignorance about holidays themselves and the their significances, In order to accomplish holiday education successfully, it is necessary for teachers to improve the reorganization and realization of their knowledge base and system.2. During the process of holiday education, subjective position of children should be emphasized, while they are spending their own holiday and becoming the hosts of holidays.3. What should be also noticed are differences between holidays’ events that teachers hold for children and the genuine interests of children; As the practitioners of holiday education, teachers should pay more attention to genuine interests and wishes of children for holiday.4. The frequency of holiday education and holiday events in specific holiday is still not enough in nursery schools, and the attention of teachers should be paid to holidays, and relevant resources should be provided by them.5. During the process of holding holiday events, the diversities in children’s ages, their personal features, and capacity of acceptance should be considered deliberately; According to the feature and capacity of individuals, different and appropriate methods and approaches should be used in holiday education.6. The evidence suggests that redundant contents and areas lead to the ambiguous key points and losing sight of big picture; Therefore, holiday events and contents should be designed including obvious key points, diverse content, and lucid direction.7. Inappropriate and intensive training before holiday events will lead to negative impacts for children’s physical and psychological health. Teachers are suggested to reduce the frequencies and intensions of such training, focusing on the development of each child’s health.
