Through the construction of a specific mathematical model of the statistical analysis, the Spatialization of Statistical Population will be the demographic data for the unit to a certain size distribution of the geographic grid, the administrative unit from the grid to the geographic unit conversion. Through Spatialization of Statistical Population, a particular geographical unit spatial distribution of population can be expressed; the multi-factor data and multi-source data can be matched and the model of population data can be constructed and expressed with multi-scale; the data series can be formed in time to a specific geographical basis and the dynamic changes of population analysis and research. Therefore, with the geographical region for the statistics unit, the spatial distribution of the population become an important direction of research and become the application of the spatial distribution of population in the area of basic research as a focal point.About the Spatialization of Statistical Population, some people have been tried. In this research, based on the research of others and the weighted combination of multi-factor theory of data fusion and the re-classification of land use, space-based population data is carried out at Poyang Lake District.Based on the 5th national population census data of 2000,this paper analyses the relationship between population density and land use.Based on the analysis of relevance to GIS software and SPSS statistical software, such as tools, the use of multi-factor weighted data fusion technology to Poyang Lake Area Multi-scale demographic data processing and analysis of space., taking into account the complexity of space-based and data updates to maintain the difficulty with the establishment of population data ,this paper is to Visual Studio integrated development environment for ArcGIS Engine components for the development and C# for the development of language. Based on the Poyang Lake basin platform Lakes, the module about Spatialization of Statistical Population is designed and developed.
