Comprehensive Evaluation Of Residents’ Life Satisfaction And Relationship With Happiness In Poyang Lake Area

The well-being of the people is the fundamental goal of regional development.Life satisfaction and happiness are two perspectives to analyze subjective well-being.This thesis constructs the life satisfaction index of residents in Poyang Lake area,comprehensively evaluates the life satisfaction of residents by using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,and analyzes the life satisfaction index of all dimensions and 38 counties.On this basis,the minimum variance method is used to reveal the structural model of residents’ life satisfaction in Poyang Lake area.Finally,the structural equation model is used to explore the relationship between residents’ life satisfaction and their happiness from the perspective of "life domain" satisfaction.The main conclusions are as follows:First,the comprehensive index of overall life satisfaction of residents in Poyang Lake area is 69.813,which is between "average" and "relatively satisfied".The life satisfaction of residents in 38 counties is generally low in the dimension of economic conditions,which are in the level of general satisfaction and below;In the five dimensions of social relations,health,public services,ecological environment and living environment,most counties and districts are at the "general" level.Second,the residents’ satisfaction in the dimensions of economic conditions,public services and social relations is basically balanced in space,while the dimensions of physical health,ecological environment and living environment show the characteristics of spatial agglomeration.Thirdly,the minimum variance method is used to analyze the structural model of life satisfaction in Poyang Lake area.The overall life satisfaction of Poyang Lake area belongs to the four factor I model.Physical health,ecological environment,economic conditions and living environment are the subjective well-being dimensions most concerned by the residents of Poyang Lake area.According to the differences in the structural models of life satisfaction,38 counties can be divided into two factor model,three factor model,four factor I model,four factor II model,five factor model and six factor model.Fourth,although life satisfaction and happiness are two ways to analyze subjective well-being,this paper finds that there are significant differences in the combination of life satisfaction and happiness in Poyang Lake area.According to the combined analysis of "life satisfaction-happiness",this thesis divides the regional types of subjective well-being of 38 counties in Poyang Lake area into four categories:happiness type,uncoordinated type,adaptation type and double low type.Fifthly,the structural equation modeling analysis shows that the satisfaction of economic condition dimension,social relationship dimension,ecological environment dimension,public service dimension,living environment dimension and physical health dimension has a direct positive impact on Residents’ happiness.And there is a significant positive interaction between each dimension of life satisfaction.Public services and living environment have the greatest impact.
