Collecting And Connoisseurship Aesthetic Ideal Of The Song Scholar-Bureaucrat

"Record of the Pure Registers of the Cavern Heaven" is a book about art collecting,written by Zhao Xigu,an imperial clan scholar-bureaucrat lived during Song Dynasty.In my essay,I discussed about the aesthetic inclination shown in the collecting and connoisseurship of the Song scholars,with Zhao's book as my special object.And then four connotations as followed are refined out of the everyday life of the Song scholars:"pure"(qing),"talent"(ya),"antique"(gu), "rarity"(qi).With the study of some species of Song scholars' art collecting,we can know more about the aesthetic ideal of them.
