Relationship Between Excellent Female Judoka's Personality And Mood Station, Anxiety Before The Race

Athlete's personality is focused in sports psychology for long times. Personality is built up by Personal traits which is the format of action and consistency during a certain time. Mental station incarnates certain time's mind activity and the human's reflection to inside and outside circumstance. Athlete's mental station determines the athlete's achievement. Judoka athletes'mental station is one of acting factors of judo race, especially when athletes'technical level is similar.Anxiety problem before the race or between the race is very general, and anxiety influences athletes'achievement. There is different anxiety intensity to different athletes those has different character traits. Athletes have different character traits need different intensity of anxiety. The problem is not the approach to reduce the anxiety, but the way to explain the physical and psychological changes (such as fast heart-beating, jitter and fear) as positive phenomena. An inappropriate explanation may be conducting the recycle effect.In this research, I observed 165 female judoka's personality traits, mood station and anxiety traits when they are intensely training before national championship in recently 2 years and attempt to discover the relationship between personality and achievement, mood station and intensity of anxiety during the race, expect to supply the psychological aegis for outstanding judokas before the race.The result shows that: 1. female judokas showed more warmth, more emotional stability, more social boldness, more sensitivity, and more tension than ordinary women and less reasoning, less dominance, less rule consciousness and less vigilance than ordinary women.2. Inferior athletes showed less privateness than master sportsman or international master sportsman. Difference showed in other factor although the difference is not notably.3. In second personality factor of X3 the interior athletes are lower than grade one athletes and master sportsman.4. The inferior athletes'scores of anxiety is notable higher than athletes of grade one and master sportsman before race. International master sportsman showed notably higher scores on the vigor factor, not notably higher scores on the self-confident factor than other athletes. International master sportsman's POMS before the race is close to the Morgan's iceberg section characters.5. Excellent female judoka's apprehension, social boldness and extroversion factor of second personality factors are can predict their TMD scores before race.6. Excellent female judoka's state anxiety correlates with trait anxiety notably. Excellent female judoka's state anxiety is notably higher than Chinese female norm. International master sportsman's score of state anxiety is notably lower than inferior athlete.7. Excellent female judoka's state anxiety before the race influences the achievement directly. Relationship of inferior athletes'state anxiety before the race and the achievement is showed inverted U shapes, and other athletes'showed U shapes. Personality factors such as F, G, H and Q4 can predict the state anxiety before race.8. Mood factors such as flustration, vigor and proper pride influences female judoka's state anxiety before race, and can predict it.9. TMD scores, state anxiety and personality factor of rule consciousness influences athletes'achievement directly. Personality factors such as emotional stability, apprehension, extroversion and social boldness can influence athletes'achievement indirectly by mood states. Some others influence athletes'achievement indirectly by state anxiety such as mental healthiness, professional achievement, excitability, vigor, flustration and trait anxiety.
