Comparison Study On Elementary Educations Between Urban And Rural Area In Western Region Of China

The elementary education, playing a fundamental and guiding role, serves as the basic condition for social equality and important content for public service. In recent years, Chinese elementary education has witnessed great achievement, but great disparity is existed in different regions, between urban and rural area, inside various groups and schools as well.Based on development status of elementary education between urban and rural area in Western region of China in recent years, the thesis has discussed the problems concerning the equalization of elementary education while pushing forward the equalization of public service. The thesis is divided into three parts as follows: the first part mainly covers the fundamental public service, elementary education and equalization of the elementary education etc.; the second part analyzes the inequality of elementary education between urban and rural area in western region of China, its bad effect and causes; the third part, from the perspective of development concept, changing the dualistic economic structure, enhancing government's input and support and establishing favorable systems and controlling mechanisms, puts forward the corresponding solutions to the equalization of elementary education between urban and rural area in the western region of China.Characterized by strong public goods property, the elementary education plays an important role in comprehensive construction of Chinese harmonious socialist society. Shortening the distance of elementary education from urban area to rural area is the key to close the distance between urban area and rural area, a guarantee for promoting overall rural area reform in the western region of China and building new socialist village as well as an important measure for further implementing the strategy of revitalizing China through science and education and the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development.
