A new round of the course reform has entered the stage of the full implementation. the evaluation reform is the key basic education curriculum reform. Can the new curriculum has been advocating the development of evaluation concept directly related to the success of curriculum reform. Portfolio assessment is a manifestation of the concept of evaluation methods of evaluation students. Portfolio assessment has been widely disseminated to a certain extent in the education reform pilot zone, achieved good results, but in its implementation, there are more problems. The selected typical sample schools on a case study, the depth interviews and analysis of samples, sum up sample schools in the portfolio evaluation of the achievements and problems, and analyze the causes, and the corresponding implementation strategy for improving sample school ideological and moral portfolio assessment.This article is divided into five parts.Part 1: The introduction. Introduce the research background and the relevant study at home and abroad, and define the relevant concept.Part 2: Theoretical basis and its functions of portfolio assessment. It focuses mainly on the theoretical basis of portfolio assessment, and set forth its function based on the character of ideological and moral as well as the advantages portfolio assessment.Part 3: A case study of the portfolio assessment in the Jinhua No.15 middle school. The part introduced the concept and methodology as well as the basic situation of the sample school. explain the study process and sum up the achievement in the assessment results, revealed the problem and its causes from the situation of portfolio assessment as well as the main conditions of portfolio assessment.Part 4: The strategy of improving ideological and moral portfolio assessment. This part put forward the strategy of improving ideological and moral portfolio assessment based on the previous survey findings and the course of problems, providing the inspiration and enlightenment. for the better portfolio assessment.Part 5: Conclusion. Put forward inadequate of the study and further explored on the basis of summing the research.
