The Study Of Cultivating Oral Communication Competence For The Students In Vocational Schools

The level of oral communication competence is the direct embodiment of one person's wisdom and civilization, which is needed by the growth and development of the talents in the 21st century. Vocational education takes the employment as the guidance, so the imminence and the importance of cultivating Oral communication competence are particularly acute. In recent years, so many specialists and scholars and the teachers in the front line have reflected and studied the oral communication teaching, and discussed how to cultivate oral communication competence for the students in vocational schools. But now, this kind of teaching is far from optimistic. Though it has drawn educators'attention to a certain extent, it is still in a state of disorder and inefficiency. Since to now, the oral communication teaching can't play the same important role as the Chinese reading and writing in vocational school, and isn't satisfactory.This thesis based on the questionnaire analyzed the problems in the oral communication teaching. The problems as following: the vocational lacked of teaching resources, the teaching goal was not very clear, the teachers lacked of the teaching theory, the students didn't have enough the knowledge of oral communication and so on. So this thesis proposes strategy on how to cultivate oral communication competence for the students in vocational schools, which based on how to develop and use of course resources, how to set the course goals, the training system of classroom teaching, the extracurricular practice and application, how to establish a scientific evaluation system , the experiences from other countries and so on. And then the author gets some feasibility methods for the oral communication teaching in vocational schools, and it laid emphasis on how to cultivate the students'confidence of oral communication according to the real cases, and the author hope that it can strengthen the suitable and actual effect of oral communication teaching in vocational schools, improve the students'oral communication competence in real earnest, and lay a solid foundation in their future career and lifelong development.
