This paper focuses on the cultivation strategies of the students' oral communication ability.With the development of times and the progress of society,oral communication becomes more and more important.To some extent,it plays a decisive role in one's all-round development.Recently,the interaction between people becomes closer and closer and more and more frequent.In the process of communication,instead of the exchange of letters,people convey their feelings through oral communication.In addition,the students' future employment and the enterprises' future development can't be separated from oral communication,such as,college students' interview,business communication and so on.Once Shen Xiangyang said,in this big environment,own great eloquence,or you will be eliminated.It proves that whether a person can be successful or not,it is up to the quality of eloquence.Therefore,from the compulsory education,we should pay attention to students' oral communication training,which is the basic skill a qualified middle school student must master.Strengthening students' communicative ability can help to improve students' thinking quality,and it is beneficial to the improvement of students' overall quality.As the hope of our country,we should try our best to support the research of oral English teaching,so as to provide a set of good oral training mode and equipment for students.Since the foundation of China,oral communication teaching has achieved a lot in theoretical research and teaching practice,but due to the bondage of traditional teaching mode and examination system,it is still neglected to some extent.The Chinese Curriculum standard of Compulsory Education(2011 edition)points out: “it's necessary for modern citizens to be good at oral communication.In order to make students have the quality of interpersonal communication,schools should cultivate students' ability of listening and expressing.” Therefore,we should implement the spirit of new curriculum standard.Schools should do some research on oral communication teaching;teachers should practice students' oral communication in class;and students' should participate in oral communication teaching activities actively.Only the full participation can be really effective.This research,based on the definition of oral communication and the research results at home and abroad,combined with three years' teaching experience and present situation and problems in oral communication class,tries to find out some effective teaching strategies to improve students' oral communication ability.According to the topic,the author intends to discuss this thesis in five parts.The first part is the introduction,including research background,significance,research status and research methods.The second part is the overview of oral communication,including the definition and theoretical background of oral communication.The third part is the present situation of oral communication teaching in junior schools,including the purpose,methods,process and the analysis of cause and survey results.The fourth part is the focus of this thesis---the strategy of cultivating students' oral communication ability,which is discussed mainly from six aspects.The last part is the evaluation of oral communication ability,including the basis of evaluation,the way and suggestion of evaluation.Under the background the new curriculum,this thesis looks forward to provide some experiences and practices for the effective implementation of oral communication teaching strategy for the effective implementation of oral communication teaching.
