China's Ministry of Education issued a new junior high school English curriculum standards clearly stated, "to guide students,to adjust the learning styles, improve their self-learning and cooperative learning ability, so they have a life-long ability to learn, we must focus on student self-development,student-centered teaching methods to promote practical ability of the development." Science and technology in today's society with the rapid development of information technology as the main indicator of the technological advances, how to make junior secondary students grasp self-learning ability is an important subject to the general middle school English teachers.The author predecessors research results on the basis of independent study, elaborated on the meaning of autonomous learning. Autonomous learning is a kind of humanistic psychology and cognitive psychology-based concepts of modern learning. It emphasizes the students in their studies, therefore, teachers also become a teaching from the teaching guidance of the rulers and organizers. The aim of autonomous learning is to train students in independent study of the self-confidence and interest, and foster positive attitudes towards learning to think independently, improve autonomous learning ability, self-adjustment ability to form good habits and self-study quality, to promote independent development of students. This paper analyzes the self-learning related theories: humanistic theory, cognitive theory and constructivism Zone of Proximal Development theory, humanistic thinkers Rogers advocated the teaching of student-centered organizations; Cognitive construct theory mainly refers to the students to have some knowledge of their own based on the structure, through the way of meaningful access to knowledge construction process; recent developments in the area of the theory of practice by students first school and the teachers to teach after learning content made a clearly demarcated.The author of No.56 Middle School in Daqing City, two Classes(3.6) 101 students in English self-study conducted a survey of the status, using the literature method, questionnaires, observation, interview forms, through the analysis of questionnaire data and interviews the understanding that, at present, middle school students learning English is generally low degree of autonomy, student dependence on teachers, it is necessary to change this situation, it is necessary to enhance student self-awareness, foster autonomous learning ability of students, stressed that teachers should foster students -centered teaching philosophy, teaching the students to highlight her own right. Therefore, the author in the text to educate middle school students learning motivation, interest in learning, and learning strategies, self-reflection, self-evaluation of the junior high school students in such areas as autonomous experiments.
