Developmental dyslexia, as a major type of dyslexia in reading, in recent years, has been arousing researchers' great interest and attachment.Chinese characters is a kind of ideographic characters . They are different from phoneticism. Previous studies has made great progress, but the result are inconsistent. In this study, based on privous studies, using the method of eye movement, from the dynamic point to do research of developmental dyslxia children's reading process.Previous researchs about eye movement in reading start from the chapter,it can make a good imitation of the real scene of reading,it can also know the characteristics of reading from the eye movement's trajectory, but it can't make detailed analysis word by word.In this study, start from the smallest meaningful unit(vocabulary),which can be used independently in Chinese. It will reveal the defects of developmental dyslexia children. This study consists of three experiments. The first experiment mainly validate if developmental dyslexia children have defects in morphological awareness, the task is to let normal children group and dyslexia group to read the same morpheme in different words, and let them to judge if the morphemes have same meaning in these words, then compare the difference between the two groups in reading process.Make the records of behavioral and eye movement indicators. The second and the third experiment are to use the homophonic or orthographically similar characters to replace the second characters of the base words, form a incorrect words, then mixed with the correct words. Then let participants to identify them.We can study the characteristics of developmental dyslexia children's eye movements in reading the different kinds of words, to confirm whether they have defects in phonological and orthographic awareness. The results shows: in the task of identifying the meaning of morphemes, the correct rate of developmental dyslexia children are significantly lower than the normal group, they and have significant differences in the total fixation duration, the number of fixation, and the number of gazepoint, these three indicators. In the experiment of phonological awareness, the developmental dyslexia group's correct rate of judging true or false word are significantly lower than the normal group, and have significant differences from normal group in the total fixation duration, the fixation count, the gaze count, these three indicators.Performance in longer fixation duration, more fixation counts and gaze counts. In the experiment of orthographic awareness, the correct rate of judge true or false word of the developmental dyslexia group are significantly lower than the normal group, and have significant differences from normal group in the total fixation duration, the fixation count, and the effective fixation frequency, these three indicators.Performance in longer fixation duration, more fixation count and the lower fixation frequency. The study showed that the Chinese developmental dyslexia have the defects in the process of reading and comprehending ,and the eye movement data can support the perspective:the chinese developmental dyslxia have morphological deficit, phonological deficit and orthographic deficit.
