As a useful complement to traditional learning, E-learning is an important means to promote the modernization of education and meet the lifelong learning needs, which has been widely developed and popularized in recent years. However, we find that the students hasn't actively participated in online learning, the teachers has lacked of effective instructional strategies to increase students'online participation as well, and the quality of online teaching hasn't achieved the desired effect in the teaching practice. So it is a worthy study to design instructional strategies for increasing students'online participation. The dissertation takes the design-based research methodology as the guide, on the basis of theoretical research, refers to the constituent elements of instructional strategies online as well as Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction in his Instructional System Design Theory, builds a prototype of instructional strategies based on events of instruction to increase students'online participation, which includes guiding strategies, interactive strategies, monitoring strategies, evaluation strategies and feedback strategies for the five main parts, and gives specific explanations for the different events of instruction in each part.Based on the prototype of instructional strategies, the author implemented intervention to students, who learned online courses of Information Technology and Chinese Writing one after another in a middle school. At the end of each course's practice, the author summarized the intervention strategies in practice and presented specific events corresponding each event of instruction in the prototype in accordance with the analysis of students'participation from two levels of quantity and quality as well as the teachers'feedback from three aspects of the cognitive participation, behavioral participation and emotional participation. It makes the prototype of instructional strategies based on events of instruction more perfection and optimization.Studies have shown that the web-based instructional strategies increase students'online participation in online learning, make online teaching go well and achieve the desired teaching effectiveness. This study takes full advantages of the network, and plays a reference and guidance role for the teachers engaged in online teaching. It is of great practical significance to carry out online learning in primary and secondary schools.
