Study On The Development Of The Rural Vocation Education In PingXiang City

Rural vocational education, which plays an irreplaceable role in solving the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, is closely related with rural economic and social development. This paper makes a study of Rural vocational education of Pingxiang City on the background of construction relating to agriculture, rural areas and farmers. By virtue of application of documentary and investigation, the paper gives an detailed account of the status quo of Rural vocational education of Pingxiang City.The study has found the problems are mainly as follows: shortage of funding, difficulty of enrollment, low quality of candidates, lag of faculty construction, irrational setup of specialties and so on. This paper turns out the major reasons include of some external factors like bondage of traditional concept, insufficient intensity of policy-related guidance, single investors, the influence of the dual structure and social hierarchy as well as some internal factors like low quality of education, specialties setup regardless of schools' capacity and social needs.Based on the investigation, the following suggestions are mentioned as per Rural vocational education of Pingxiang City: to shift our minds and raise the awareness of Rural vocational education of Pingxiang City, to strengthen the functions of government, to increase the financial input; to work together for increasing the number of new students and improving the quality of new students; to strengthen the building of the ranks of Rural vocational education teachers and improve their competence; to optimize the setup of specialties with time and site conditions as well as to reinforce career guidance for higher employment rate of Rural vocational education schools. Therefore improve the status quo of Rural vocational education and promote the development of Rural vocational education.
