The current study Xinzhou City,"new countryside" construction background, Xinzhou City Rural Vocational Education for the study, the main use of the survey visit, literature and other methods of Xinzhou City, conducted a survey of rural vocational education research, dig out the rural Xinzhou status of vocational education.The study found that in recent years, rural vocational education in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Vocational Education Group chairman of the unit-has led Xinzhou primary school level under agricultural development, but then there are many problems either:Admissions difficult; students poor quality; vocational school software and hardware construction of agricultural and vocational education can not meet the needs of the development; Government’s emphasis on rural vocational education has not been done; employment channel is not smooth like. The main reason for these problems are:the existence of bias awareness of vocational education in rural areas; impact on rural dual structure of vocational education; contradiction between teaching practice and theory of teaching.Based on the survey, the development of vocational education in rural areas of Xinzhou City proposes the following measures:improving vocational education legislation, reform of rural vocational education investment system and management system; government should vigorously support the rural vocational education; strengthen training base construction and reform; agricultural vocational school to multi gather employment information for students vigorously broaden employment channels; rural vocational education to build a diversified investment system; integration of educational resources, to build a new system of vocational education.
