At present, job burnout, a psychological phenomenon, has attracted more and more attention. It tends to emerge and spread among assistants in colleges and universities. Assistants in colleges and universities, the mainstay of students'ideological and political education, act as the mentor and polestar in shaping students'mental health. Therefore, job burnout has a negative influence on the effect of students'ideological and poli8tical education. And the job burnout analysis becomes one of the most important issues in the development of ideological and poli8tical education. Counselor burnout on the status of the investigation and the reasons for the inquiry, fatigue countermeasures to eliminate the problem the researchers have also become a hot topicThis paper mainly discusses this phenomenon in five sections:Section 1: the background and significance of choosing this topic are displayed in this section, as well as the research developments and the innovations and the shortcomings of those researches.Section 2: the origin and the definition of burnout, as well as its symptoms and causes are discussedSection 3: the present actuality of burnout among assistants of colleges and universities are described in three aspects, namely, basic information of assistants, questionnaire survey on their burnout and data analysis.Section 4: the causes of burnout among assistants of colleges and universities are analyzed subjectively and objectively.Section 5: countermeasures to job burnout among assistants of colleges and universities are discusses in social recognition, organization support and self- regulation, respectively.
