The United States is on of the world's superpower country, not only the economic development is in the front of other country, but also the eduction is.American primary and secondary education has achieved a high degree of popularity,American gifted children education has been top in the world and has made a significant contribution for the education of gifted and talented children education in the world.Education of gifted children in China started late, compared with the United States there is a big gap,our country must learn from the United States, absorbing the U.S.gifted child's education experience and lessons, and providing the level of education of gifted children in China. This article starts from the evolution of the definition of gifted children, identification of gifted children and gifted children's history of the development, resettlement model of education and education model of gifted children. We should study U.S.experiences and lessons of education of gifted children, in order to improve the China's system of education of gifted children to make constructive thinking. This article has five parts:The first part, an introduction to clarify the background of the issue, this article on the "gifted child" and "gifted education" concept definition, research significance and research ideas and methods.The second part, the United States the definition and identification of gifted children. Started from the history of U.S's gifted children definition,I explore the history of the United States from the early twentieth century to the end of twentieth century history of development of the definition of gifted children and analyze the United States'the definition of gifted children the evolution of the law. Then, introducing the United States welcomed the two gifted children identification methods, namely, multi-factor authentication and multi-cultural identification.The third part, history of education of gifted children.tracing the history of the development, analysis of the United States the development of gifted children's education factors, sought to clarify the U.S.education of gifted children of the school.The fourth part, resettlement model of educational gifted children.analyzed the three main resettlement model that is a genius school and classes, resource room and general classrooms, and studied the education model of gifted children mainly in the United States, curriculum, and make a certain amount of review, analyze its strengths and weaknesses.The fifth part, the United States the basic experience of gifted children's education, problems and enlightenment. summed up the experience of gifted children's education in America, but also pointed out that the education of gifted children in the United States there are three problems, finally pointed out 5 reference:1.to strengthen the legislative work of education of gifted children 2.The identification of gifted children need to diversify the standard.3.using a variety of gifted children's educational reettlement mode 4. to change the traditional "speed up the system"educational model 5.expand the study of gifted children the number of institutions and researchers.
