Teacher-student relationship is an important part in the university graduate education, and it's the most basic relationship in the education. So, it affects teaching, graduate students, campus, science even our country. Constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship bases on harmonious theory. Under the guidance of the thought of harmony, this relationship requests teachers and students getting along, living well, and finally loving each other. In the other words, they will achieve overall harmony.The paper is divided into four parts. Introduction is the first part of paper. In this part, the author aims to explain the background and significance of the study, the research ideas and methods, and the literature review about teacher-student relationship at home and abroad.In the second part, this paper mainly expounds the concepts of harmonious teacher-student relationship in the university graduate education; introduces the characteristics of harmonious teacher-student relationship. It's using love-based, democracy and equality and symbiotic creation; discusses the necessity of constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship in the university graduate education.The third part of the paper, investigating the status of harmonious teacher-student relationship in the university graduate education, and then discovering dominant conflict and covert conflict is the main performance of non-harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Through further researching, analyzing the factors that impacts constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship, they're the impact of individual factors between teacher-student; the negative impact of market economy development; the impact of social and cultural change.In the forth part, this paper considers the thought of harmonious and modern teacher-student relationship as the theoretical basis of constructing harmonious teacher-student relationship. The value orientation is teachers and students all developing well besides the development of the post graduate; put forward the principle of constructing harmonious relationship is overall harmonious and concorde contract; explore the main ways, they're setting up the thought of harmonious, creating harmonious campus culture; promoting graduate innovative mechanism reform, creating a good institutional environment; strengthening post graduate respecting their teachers, pay attention to post graduate's academic ethics; surveying the view of teacher authority, increasing the tutor's personality charm; strengthening international exchanges and cooperation, learning the advanced experience.
