In a country, for a one-hundred-year plan, education is the foundation; for an education plan, educating is the foundation; and teachers are the fundamental of educating. Nowadays the foreign language education in primary and middle school experience a profound curriculum reform in china, thus the foreign language teachers' professional development has become an urgent research topic. It can promote more English teachers'professional growth through the analysis and interpretation of professional development of English teachers, who are in countryside junior middle school. Learning the English teachers of individual growth process, discovering the key events, analyzing the internal and external influential factors, summarizing the way to promote the countryside junior middle school English teachers'professional development, then providing reference for more the countryside junior middle school English teacher professional development.This study uses qualitative research methods, takes district Daan of Zigong city as an example, and selects three English teachers as the research object. Through the methods of reading literature, field observing and in-depth interviews to collect data, during the process of the material written up, the professional growth process were analyzed by restructuring of data segment, in order to make the nature of things with the situation.This research is divided into five parts:Part one, describes the background, reviews the related literature and have a classification analysis. At the same time, this research also introduces the theory foundation, study purpose and research significance, the research methods and ideas. Part two, narratives English teachers'professional development process in three different growth stages of the countryside junior middle school respectively, and describes teaching situation, class and students'management separately.Part three, combing with examples of cases, analyzes internal and external influential factors of the countryside junior middle school English teachers'professional growth, such as professional quality, Teaching beliefs, achievement motivation, professionalism, teaching reflection and social environment, school culture, incentive mechanism, further training.Part four, on the basis of investigation and study, proposes the promotion strategy from two aspects chiefly, one is to optimize the external environment of the countryside junior middle school English teachers'professional development, and the other one is to cultivate the subject consciousness of countryside junior middle school English teachers'professional development.Part five, during the research, there are some thinking and harvests are summarized, and the end of this paper means another new start for the author.
