The teacher-student relationship is the most important and fundamental human relationship in the process of teaching. The character and level of the relationship has important effects on education and teaching, with the notable influence on the physical and mental development of both teachers and students. The traditional teacher-student relationship shows a lot of problems in The Post-figurative culture age. Human beings are cultural lives.Colleges are Particular cultural organization. With the changing of conditions of social Productivity developing, cultural is developing and changing. That always affect the form of teacher-student relationship in college. Studying teacher-student relationship from cultural perspective is a great enrichment to the train of thought for inquiring teacher-student relationship. Such research gives us a new perspective and helps us get a further deeper comprehension about the teacher-student relationship.The first part of the thesis tells about the characteristic of college teacher-student relationship, which differs from other teacher-student relationship, then shows the traditional perspectives to study teacher-student relationship.The second part analyses teacher-student relationship from new perspectives, cultural-heritage perspective, and shows the characteristics of Post-figurative culture age.The third part is about the impact and emerging issues of the teacher-student relationship in college in The Post-figurative culture age.Part IV is to build the theoretical basis of reconstruction of teacher-student relationship in college in The Post-figurative culture age from pedagogy, culture, philosophy, management and psychology.Part V is on discussion on the principles and means of reconstruction of teacher-student relationship in college in The Post-figurative culture age.
