Works of foreign language literature in High school Chinese textbooks is rich in humanistic spirit. However, little attention has been paid attention to in high school language teaching. By integrating years of teaching practice and research discoveries, this paper undertakes explorations and discussions about the problems emerging in the previous situation of foreign literature teaching in high school from the requirements of New Curriculum. Based on the problems in previous situation, this article promotes that teachers should change their former misleading attitudes and methods in pragmatic teaching process as well as attaches more importance to students' mentality and emotions. Besides that, teachers should train the students to read effectively by guiding them to perform multi-dimensional and personalized reading activities. Meanwhile, teachers can build a three-dimensional model of foreign literary works teaching through extra-curricular reading as an effective means of complement and extension.
