With the continuous advancement of Chinese curriculum reform,the mul ti-culture in Chinese education has been paid more and more attention.Foreig n literary works in high school Chinese textbooks reflect values,ways of thinki ng and emotional pursuits that are quite different from those in China,making it an important window for students to understand the world.However,when i nvestigating the current teaching situation of foreign literary works,the author finds that there are many problems in the current teaching of foreign literary works.Teachers in the text interpretation is not deep enough,model teaching is obvious;The teaching process does not respect students'dominant positio n well.These problems have much to do with the traditional teaching of readi ng.Through the comparison of various teaching methods,the author found th at group text reading teaching can not only break through the limitations of si ngle reading teaching,but also cultivate students' thinking ability in complex s ituations by virtue of the advantages of multiple texts,so that students can ta ke the initiative to find and think.Therefore,the author tries to give full play to the common teaching value of foreign literary works by combining the theory of group reading teaching.Firstly,the author defines the concept and theoretical basis of group text reading teaching on the basis of previous research results.Second,are in hig h school teaching material of foreign literature on the basis of combing,from the curriculum standard,language core accomplishment,the college entrance examination test outline,Chinese curriculum reform,teacher professional dev elopment five aspects analysis the necessity of high school group article read ing teaching of foreign literature,from the characteristics of high school stude nts cognitive development,teaching material system characteristics,two asp ects analysis the feasibility of group article reading teaching of foreign literatu re,as well as its significance of development of the teachers and students cul tivate;Thirdly,this paper introduces in detail the practice path of foreign literat ure reading teaching in high school from three aspects:how to propose the to pic,how to select and combine the text,and how to design teaching links and implement classroom teaching.Finally,three specific teaching designs are de signed on the topics of "the suppression and alienation of human nature","the tough guy image in Chinese and foreign literature" and "The shaping and inter pretation of Hamlet's complex character".In the study,the author found that the teaching of group reading of foreig n literary works in senior high school is an effective supplement to the teachin g of single reading and a beneficial teaching attempt,hoping to have some enl ightening value for frontline teachers.
