The textbook of history is the core of historical teaching materical,but the historical teaching materical is also the important part of the resources of historical course. this makes clear the rey position of historical textbook in the reform of historical course, the high or low quality of textbook compilation not only affects the realization of quality -oriented education goal ,but also impacts the success or failure of the course reform of a new circle. The purpose of this paper is to sort out and check the mail points of many scholars organized by "History Teaching",centering on the styles,Guiding ideology. and content choice, etc of the historical textbook, And we can also summarize the general way of how to compile the historical textbook.This paper is divided into two mail parts. The first part is to classify the main points given by the scholars organized by "History Teaching" , and then to try to think and analyze according to the difference and similarity of these scholars points. The second part is to inquire into the concrete ways of how to compile the historical textbook of middle school in term of style,guiding ideology,and content choice,hoping to make all the people who are concerned about or engaged in the compilation of history textbook to draw inspiration from it.
