According to the promulgation of the national three-layer curricula policy, school-based curriculum development and management was paid more and more attention and emphasis. There are many issues worthy of our study in that area. In this paper, we try to understand how a primary school develops school-based curriculum and implements school-based curriculum management, and thus to explore how to use some school-based curriculum management strategies.Around this issue, this paper is divided into three parts.In part 1, we explore some basic problems, such as the major concerns, the research design and related literature review.In part 2, we analyze a case: the school-based curriculum development and management in J school. Through that case, we can see the main targets, processes, measures of school-based curriculum management, etc.In part 3, we study deeply the school-based curriculum management strategies utilized in J school, such as integrating strategy, combining strategy, linking and staggering strategy and self-automation strategy.Through the research mentioned above, we can see: the school curriculum management strategies can determine the success or failure of curriculum implementation.
