The brief summary of class is the necessary procedure of classroom teaching. It's also the important procedure of students' effective learning. During the Chinese teaching procedure in middle school, if the brief summary has been well done, the teaching contents can be consolidated, the students' Chinese knowledge can be combed , their emotion can be sublimated. What's more, It will give students more space to consider and explore .It can also arouse their reading and learning interest after class, so hat they would like to study more on their own though the class has ended.However, in the everyday teaching , teachers lack the consciousness and recognition on the brief summary of class. So that the method of brief summary is simple .and the pertinence is weak. The students' learning consciousness is also weak during the brief summary of class. The appearance of the problems influences the value of the brief summary of class. Even it will cause little effect or no effect of the brief summary.This paper bases on the analysis of the fact and studying status quo on the brief summary of class. It is established in the practice of classroom teaching and combines with the system theory, structuralism theory, meta cognition theory, involvement theory of teaching, and the associated requirements of the latest standard. The paper investigates initially on three aspects to the brief summary of class. They are the value ,the styles ,the methods and the pertinence of the brief summary.(The styles and methods include: suit different teaching aims, suit different lesson types, regard students as main body.).
