Problems And Countermeasures Of Independent Colleges' Selective Curriculum

University selective curriculum, as non-major optional courses, which allows all students to choose the same course according to their own preferences, aims at broadening their horizon, enhancing the quality about Humanisties and Science. Owing to lacking the unitive curriculum construction and the criteria of curriculum evaluation, etc, university selective curriculum of different university has different characteristics for their own orientation, gold of talent cultivation, the potency of teachers'staff. Along with the universities'popularizing, the independent college which is the new system of high education, rise abruptly. University selective curriculum has played an especial and important role for achieving their educational goals that graduates should have profound knowledge to meet different requirements of society and occupation. This paper consists of six parts.Introduction mainly introduces the reason of research, definitions the related concepts, summarizes and methods of the research..The first part reveals the present situation of the selective curriculum in Chongqing Nanfang Translation College of Sichuan International Studies University and Yucai College Of Southwest University.The second part mainly analyzes the problems of the selective curriculum in independent colleges of Chongqing such as Chongqing Nanfang Translation College of Sichuan International Studies University and Yucai College Of Southwest University.The third part focuses on analyzing the reason why those independent colleges such as the Chongqing Nanfang Translation College of Sichuan International Studies University and Yucai College Of Southwest University have so many problems in their selective curriculum teaching and administration.The forth part aims at probing into the problems of the selective curriculum and working out these problems'countermeasure.Conclusion, which summarizes the initial discussion of this article, points out those unsolved issues and defects, and lays out its future focuses.
