Community Emotions Of Small And Medium-sized Cities

With the development of modern city, the community construction is a very positive meaning, and the development of community emotion is an important factor of community construction. At present scholars took more study on large cities, less on small and medium-sized city community emotions. In recently years, the social economy culture development of small and medium-sized cities has been increasingly prominent, so the thesis focuses on researching the community emotions of small and medium-sized urban cities, taking Nantong, Jiangsu Province as an example. Firstly, I summarized and discussed community emotions of China and abroad, and the influencing factors in the present society. I affirmed the existence of the community emotions in small and medium-sized urban cities, defined and distinguished some related concepts, such as sense of community, community awareness and community social capital and related concepts. Then I analyzed the characteristics and developments of small and medium-sized urban cities in China, including community development, the pace of life, community involvement and neighborhood relations, and summed up the status of medium and small city communities and emotional factors by empirical research, and compared with big cities, analyzed the similarities and differences between them. Finally, according to factors of the community emotions, researched on how to further promote the construction and development of small and medium-sized urban cities, and proposed the practical measures and ways.
