So far, it has eight years, since the new Chinese curriculum reformation launched, during this period both the theory researchers and the front line of educators, pay more attention on the Chinese classroom teaching. As a natural continuation and complement of the classroom teaching, homework did not receive enough attention .The ignorence of homework lead to the neglect of the Chinese designing ,resulting in many problems in Chinese design work.In order to solve the current problems in the Chinese homework designing in middle school, this study introduced the multiple intelligences theory and made a consideration and study to the design of the Chinese homework. This research was undertaken to seek a feasible way of designing Chinese homework, combined with the specific design of the language work. This study is divided into five parts:The first part states the problem and explained the significance of this study.The second part introduces the concept of Chinese homework designing and the principles under the new curriculum criterion, and the multiple intelligences theory. The third part from the respect for individual differences, the pursuit of people-oriented, the emphasis of diversity and openness and acheieve the target of people's full development, pay attention to integrated use and practical ability, emphasis on cooperation explore and contextualization four aspects discussed the consistence of multiple intelligences theory and the Chinese homework designing in middle school.The fourth part is the main part of this study, combined with the specific designs, discussed the Chinese homework designing in middle school under the multiple intelligences theory.They are diversity job homework, the design of individual intelligence homework, menu-based operation homework, contextualization homework and the theme homework.The fifth part discusses the multiple intelligences theory itself and the shortcomings of this study and the hope of this study.
