Teachers are main body of school teaching and teachers' administration is the decisive factor of school education quality. Study on the job satisfaction of rural primary school teachers is helpful in understanding the professional attitude, working passion and working enthusiasm of teachers, which helps to promote effectively teacher management.Combined use of quantitative and qualitative study, this study mainly uses " the paper investigation method ", complementing with "the literature method" and "the interview method". On the basis of probing into books about job satisfaction from home and abroad, we design questionnaire on job satisfaction of rural primary school teachers, where pretest and formal empirical research started. By data processing and analysis using SPSS software, this study quantifies satisfaction degree of teachers'job satisfaction.Investigation revealed that:1,Generally speaking, rural primary school teachers are satisfied with their jobs. Satisfaction in social acceptance, leading management and prospect aspects is higher than in working nature aspects and it is lowest in working condition, working pressure and students'characters aspects.2,Rural primary school teachers of different class hours have significant differences on job satisfaction, satisfaction reduced as class hours increased; Teachers have different job satisfaction according to their different marriage situation, and job satisfaction of unmarried teachers is lower than married teachers; Teachers job satisfaction difference among different reasons of being a teacher is distinct.3,The total satisfaction of rural primary school teachers on sex, educational background and teaching age variables is not distinct, but satisfaction of individual domain is significantly different.Based on the results above, this paper discusses the reasons from social, regional, vocational and individual perspective and proposes to promote the job satisfaction of rural primary school teachers. Firstly, through training inside and outside, strengthen comprehensively construction of teaching contingent; Secondly, unify teaching work load to arouse teachers'enthusiasm; Thirdly, pay attention to professional career management of rural primary school teachers, speeding up transition of teacher from maintaining type to interesting typeï¼›Fourthly, improve democratic teaching, to promote teachers'professional development; Fifthly, consider the teacher with humanization, going down to the world from the altar.
