Class teachers is the first responsible person of the students in the school,and is the main supporter of the moral education work in China.The job satisfaction of the class teacher is not high,and most teachers are not willing to serve as the class teacher.This will directly affect the comprehensive development of students in the compulsory education stage and affect the development level of basic school education.Developing rural education is the key way to achieve educational equity.Therefore,how to improve the job satisfaction of the class teacher and increase the attractiveness of the class teacher's position is an important issue that needs to be solved urgently.The research generally adopts a method combining investigation,iterature analysis,and policy analysis.A survey of 8497 class teachers in 35 counties in 18 provinces in East,Central and West China found that most teachers were unwilling to serve as class teachers,and most class teachers were less satisfied with their job responsibilities,allowance standards,professional development,and social status.Therefore,the study found that the reasons for the low satisfaction of the class teacher's work include: the boundary of the class teacher's job responsibilities is relatively vague;the incentives for subsidies are not effective;the class teacher's selection and employment mechanism is not reasonable;the class teacher's assessment and evaluationand professional development system are not perfect,etc.Based on the above analysis,the study believes that the work of the class teacher should return to the value state that should be,the job responsibilities of the class teacher need to be scientific and clear;the allowance for the class teacher needs to be scientifically allocated;the assessment of the class teacher needs to be scientific and effective;the class teachers need to be respected and have professional development.Therefore,the research constructs the improvement mechanism of class teacher's job satisfaction from the following five aspects:clarifying the job responsibilities of the class teacher,raising the standard of class teacher's allowance,establishing a scientific evaluation system for the class teacher,establishing a professional development mechanism for the class teacher,and protecting the lawful rights and interests of the class teacher according to law.These contents complement and strengthen each other,and jointly build an organic system,and finally improve the satisfaction of the work of the rural primary school class teacher.
