In recent years, privately-run pre-school education institution developed rapidly which not only make up for the gap of the funding and educational resources in pre-school education field, but also continued to meet the diversity of early childhood education demand. In 2004, the number of private kindergartens for the first time exceeded the number of public kindergartens and gradually become a main part of China's pre-school education.Meanwhile, the private kindergartens are improving from external hardware facilities to education, teaching quality and management. High-quality of early childhood education is to ensure the harmonious development of children physically and mentally. The development of the private kindergartens is to continuously improve the professional quality of teachers. According to the survey, the majority of teachers in private kindergarten are the novice teachers. Facing the new situation, how to strengthen the novice teachers'training to enable them to grow up is the key task to the development of the private kindergartens.In this research, the novice teachers of private kindergartens in Changsha are research object. There are two methods of questionnaire and interviews in this research. Private kindergartens novice teachers training investigation mainly include:the novice teachers basic situation investigation; training intention survey; outside of the kindergarten continue training; several aspects of the school-based training situation. Analyses the problems of training and puts forward some suggestions.The following list is about the problems of in-service training for novice teachers in private kindergartens:1. Low motivation to participate in training; 2. Fewer opportunities for training outside; 3. Difficult to carry out training within the kindergarten; 4. Training time and funding do not guarantee; 5. Training effectiveness is very low.As private kindergarten novice teachers'in-service training problems, this study proposes the following recommendations:1. to improve the private kindergarten teachers living conditions, enhance the private kindergarten teacher professional development initiative;2. the implementation of the policy, making private preschool teachers have equal training opportunities;3. the training content to suit the characteristics of novice teachers;4. in the form of training should be diversified; 5. emphasis on training within the kindergarten for novice teachers to create a growth environment in practice.
