The Structure Of The Senior Headteachers Competence And The Relationship Among Competence,Self-efficacy And Psychology -well-being

Through some standard research methods such as literature review ,behavioral event interview and questionnaire survey with 262 senior headteachers and 1310 senior middle school students of five areas in Henan Province. Statistics as exploratory factor analysis ,confirmatory factor analysis ,structural equation model and regression analysis were applied to analyze, induce and explain the data, discussed the competence structure of senior headteachers ,established the competence questionnaire for headteachers, evaluated the competence of senior headteachers, using the questionnaire, then discussed the relationship of competence ,self-efficacy and psychology -welling being.The conclusions were drawn as following:First, the senior headteachers competence is comprised of four dimensions , namely Class management ability, Interpersonal communication ability, Emotion morals competence and Education and teaching faculty. Of all ,the Class management ability is the core.Second, in the study of the senior headteacher competence and self-efficacy, the conclusion shows: The two dimensions, Class management ability and Interpersonal communication ability of the senior headteacher competence, have remarkable positive influence on the self-efficacy. Emotion morals competence and Education and teaching faculty have no significant effect on the self-efficacy.Third , in the study of the senior headteachers and psychology -welling being, the conclusion shows: Class management ability and Emotion morals competence of senior headteachers have remarkable positive effect on the psychology-welling being, Interpersonal communication ability and Education and teaching faculty have no significant effect on the psychology -welling being.Fourth, in the different demographical variables such as different sex, different school type, different grade ,the competence, the self-efficacy and the psychology -welling being have significant differences in different dimensions.
