An Investigation And Research To Current Situation Of Cultivation For Physical Education And Training Master Postgraduate Students In JiangSu Province

In China, the universities' Graduate Education is higher-level education. With the popularity of our country's higher-level education, the number of masters increased by a wide margin and P.E. masters is a part of this talents, especially the master whose major is physical education and training, which provide a flood of sports excellence for ourselves and made a great contribution to physical education career. However it has also faced both opportunities and challenges since the expansion of university, on one hand those enrollment and masters' scale developed rapidly; on the other ,how to ensure the quality has already been a hot topic, not only in universities but also the society, which needs a continuously study. Province Jiangsu is a powerful province of our country in economy and education, it also has a lot of P.E. resource and masters. Consequently, how to assure the quality which could deepen the reform and development is worthwhile thinking and discussing.This article use a method of the data, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, interview and logical analysis to investigate the actual state of the masters in five institutions of Jiangsu, the writer put forward some recommendations combine the affairs of P.E.master in Jiangsu Province and the impact of some of the issues. The purpose is to provide a reference to all the relevant units and individuals. Research results:1. Most of those graduate students who hold JiangSu province sport educational training master degree, have a athlete and judge certificate, has some sport achievement and judge quality. However, level 2 and 3 athlete and level 2 judges is the majority, still there are some athletes and judges don't have certificate, which is the main factor that affect the quality of cultivating the graduate student of sport educational training.2. Graduate student of JiangSu province sport educational training master degree, lack of a correct motivation, just for dealing with the examination. They don't take the study of college English level 4 and 6 seriously; the study doesn't apply to practice. These phenomena should be improved.3. The motivation for 40 percent graduate students, in order to apply master degree, of JiangSu province sport educational training program, is to "strive for a better future and development". Most of them think it is hard to find a job, and follow others action. Lack of initiative is the main reason affecting the quality of this program.4. There is a lot of repetitiveness between graduate course and under graduate course; no plentiful choice for course selection, the content lacks frontier knowledge. Most of the graduate students are not satisfied with the curriculum. they focus on theory, overlook research methodology, which came apart with practice, which leads to a serious problem.5. The master students, who study in JiangSu province, accept training sport classes to focus on their own practice-based. They are lack of teacher guidance. The frequency of communication between graduate students and tutors is very low. The reason is that students are not active and do not hold on the appropriate communication skills, which are not conducive to train and growth of students.6. The physical education and training master's research capability is not strong in JiangSu Province. They focus on publish papers to finish the goal of school. The level of publications and the academic value is low. Most graduate students have participated in scientific research and practical activities, but they usually to participate in those activities limited.7. The goal and situation in employment for graduate students who study in physical education and training program is terrible in JiangSu Province. However, most students have the full preparation; wait for opportunity and confidence when they face to job position. They also have strong confidence when they definitely confirm their goals. The top three in the job market are: primary and secondary school physical education teachers, civil servants, and sports teacher in the college and university. Suggestions:1. Appropriately increase the level test opportunity for students who want to participate in athletes and referees testing level.2. School should encourage graduate student study foreign language. Increase foreign language examining and evaluating system, increasing students'reading and oral skills.3. Companies and other organizations need change their recruiting target from degree oriented to skill oriented.4. Strengthen master's research capability.5. Coursed should meet employment needed. Methodology should be one the key course in graduate education system. Courses need be updated in every short term and students should be encouraged to do internship.6. Advisors should keep their eyes on students. Students should understand how to communication.
