In this thesis the author mainly analysis the problems of the ancient poetry teaching in a rural middle school at present. And the analysis and research are based on the contradictions that exist in the text, study subjects and teaching methods. And according to the current studying situation and the requirement of the New Curriculum , the author states the necessity of the ancient poetry context-teaching in a rural middle school . The author also summarizes the process of context-teaching at home and abroad in order to research the ancient poetry in rural areas in conjunction with rural reality, coupled with the aesthetic-driven learning methods of education and teaching. Through these researches the author tries to find out a context-teaching strategy that is with the status of rural education by enhancing the interest and encouraging the research into ancient poems. The study methods of this thesis contain: theory research method, a questionnaire survey method, experimental method and observation method.The mainly states the drawbacks and reasons of ancient poetry teaching in a rural middle school, and also proposes a targeted solution according to them: to try to be close to the life and show out real circumstances; to lead the students to describe real life; to advocate the circumstances by using music as well bring up the solution from the circumstance point of view: to know the living background of the poets and try to know the time from them; to understand the images from the outward; to sample the knowledge and grasp the whole poem. the author thinks that the teaching methods of ancient poetry must be changed with the changing of the students. Language teachers should integrate with the new situation, new teaching ideas, explore new ways of teaching the ancient poems, to guide student learning, to enable students to actively participate in the study of ancient poetry and feel the beauty and enhance the beauty in the learning experience and eventually to let students spread the beauty.
