As an important carrier and component of traditional culture,ancient poetry occupies a large space in middle school Chinese textbooks.Among the national unified junior middle school Chinese textbooks(referred to as the unified edition)put into use in 2017,as many as 84 ancient poems were selected as compulsory and elective courses.How to carry out the teaching of ancient poetry more effectively has become an important subject for the majority of junior middle school Chinese teachers.Under the influence of examination-oriented education for a long time,some junior high school Chinese teachers have quite a lot of experience in grasping the skills of posing and answering ancient poetry questions,but their careful reading and analysis of ancient poetry and aesthetic education in classroom teaching are slightly insufficient.This is far from the original intention of the textbook experts of the Ministry of Education to compile ancient poems.Moreover,some junior middle school students’ learning of ancient poetry is limited to rote memorization,and the aesthetic appreciation and skill learning of ancient poetry,the application of ancient poetry language,and the understanding and inheritance of traditional culture are unsatisfactory.Based on the above-mentioned situation,this paper takes the selected ancient poems as the research object in the unified compilation of Chinese textbooks for junior middle schools.Through the data analysis and comparison of selected ancient poems in textbooks,as well as the investigation of teachers and students in three middle schools in the teaching of ancient poems,some pertinent and constructive strategies and suggestions are put forward.This paper is mainly composed of six parts.The introduction part expounds the reasons and significance of this topic,summarizes the domestic research status of ancient poetry teaching in junior middle school Chinese textbooks,and introduces the main objectives and methods of this research.In the first chapter,it focuses on the analysis of the selection of ancient poetry in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese textbooks,from the aspects of theme,Dynasty and writer,and analyzes the basic characteristics of the selection of ancient poetry in the unified edition of Chinese textbooks through data analysis and its comparison with the selection of ancient poetry in the people’s education edition of Chinese textbooks.The second chapter is to investigate the teaching situation of ancient poetry in the unified junior middle school Chinese textbook,and design a questionnaire from two aspects of teachers and students.The third chapter puts forward the strategies of ancient poetry teaching in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese textbooks.The fourth and fifth chapters are mainly the application of ancient poetry teaching strategies.They not only carry out the teaching design and teaching practice of ancient poetry,but also evaluate the effect of ancient poetry teaching,in order to put forward some constructive suggestions for the current ancient poetry teaching.
