The primary mathematical practice and comprehensive application is one of the four fields in mathematics. It is also the highlight of the new-class reform. In order to analyze the process and features of the primary mathematical practice and comprehensive application, to clarify the factors that disturb the research and development of the class, to put forward some solutions, I conduct some research and analysis as a developer and performer.First, I take part in the whole process, conducting the performance and reflection at the same time. Second, I judge whether the class is suitable for the students and teachers in line with their problems and feelings. At last, I collect the problems through questionnaire and individual case. This paper lasts for a year, during which I have a better understanding of the present condition of the primary mathematical practice and comprehensive application, bring up with the principle, thinking, pattern, feature as well as the elements, find out and solve the problems in the process.The primary mathematical practice and comprehensive application can be divided into three categories, the first is activities in class, the second is the practice after class, the third is the extra-curriculum activities. I mainly focus on the first and the third due to some reasons. I summarize the elements according to the principles of design and research.I find and conclude the problems during the process, which includes personnel, time, content, method and so on. Meanwhile, four strategies are put forward to solve the problems:â‘ strengthening study, change opinion, enhance the capacity of teachersâ‘¡providing policy to support, improve the administration, offer enough time for activitiesâ‘¢studying the textbook, tailor it according to the conditions of the schoolâ‘£emphasizing administration, actively evaluate and encourage the teacher to practice.Every primary mathematical teacher should have the awareness and ability in primary mathematical practice and comprehensive application. He or she can also research and develop the class according to the principles and features.
