Practice and Comprehensive Application, the biggest bright spot in the mathematics textbookreform, bears the important task of students’ mathematical ability and sense of innovation andreflects the international mathematics curriculum development trends. The field as an independentfield is still emerging field in the Primary Mathematics. Materials development is not yet completeand there are still many deficiencies. The textbook in the field of research is particularly necessary.By comparison with the outstanding foreign materials from each other, provide direct experiencefor the preparation of the ‘Practice and Comprehensive Application ‘textbooks text in the field withthe characteristics of China’s education. Singapore heavily influenced by Confucian in thegeographical and cultural characteristics have more in common with China, jointly in SoutheastAsia, Chinese account for77%of the country’s population. Its successful experience in the field ofeducation has an important reference value.This study used a literature search method, text comparison method and statistical analysisand other methods. From feature quantity, plate layout, form of presentation,arrangement ofcontent, form of activity, as well as with other areas of knowledge,this paper compares the‘practice and Comprehensive application ‘in Chinese the PEP textbooks and Singapore ShapingMaths textbooks in-depth and detailed. This paper mainly analyzes static text preliminary to getthese conclusions. After analyzing and refining conclusions, this paper thinks preparation ofteaching materials for Practice and Comprehensive Applications should comply with theseprinciples: applications and integrated combination, practical unity in diversity, open and closedboth, autonomy and cooperation synchronization, decentralized and centralized nature co-existing.Recommendations for preparation China’s Practice and Comprehensive Application are as follows:(1)It is appropriate to increase the number feature quantity as the number of different gradesgradient changes.(2)Form of presentation concludes both unification and independent. (3)Contents arrangement should combine centralized scheduling and distributedchoreography.(4)Change the form of practical activities based on age characteristics of student learning.(5)Establish an open Practice and Comprehensive Application course and encourage thedevelopment of school-based teaching materials.In order to play a greater value of practice and Comprehensive applications of textbook,teacher training and the construction of the repository should be strengthened. Subject to conditionsand the researcher’s own level of restrictions, there is still much to be explored further with theresearch as there are many deficiencies in this paper.
