Research On Teaching Computer Art In Shanghai's Primary And Secondary School

Computer Art is a new discipline which acrosses the Art and Science, It provides people a new expression. Today, the civilization is highly developed, more and more people are attention to the role of computer art which is now as a best tool for people. it affecting the aesthetic habits of young people, expanding their aesthetic vision and experience.Learning Computer Art will make great significance on expangding the quality of primary and secondary education, exploring the integration of computer and art courses. Today, Computer Art has been the most important part of Information Technology and Art curriculum, and became a favorite learning activities of students. As the most openning city, how is the Computer Art situation in Shanghai's primary and secondary schools? What the problems are? what's the reason of these problems? How to solve it? Do we need to set up Computer Art class in school? These problems would be solve in this article.This thesis includes four chapters. The first chapter is to define the concept of Computer Art, introduce its characteristics and its application in art teaching. The second chapter is a survey of Computer Art teaching in Shanghai's primary and secondary schools, the writer combinated the interviews and the survey to got the point. Chapter III, which based on the the second chapter, analysis the issues about the Computer Art teaching in Shanghai, and then introduce the teaching cases of American School and other schools. The last chapter, Predict the direction about the computer art in Shanghai's primary and secondary schools, then summarise the limitations of this reserch and, Imagine the future in the end.
