Nowadays the pressure of graduate employment is increasing. Affected by social-culture, traditional values, as well as women's own physiological characteristics, female graduates not only have to face difficulties in looking for a job,but also have to face a series of problems about career development. A appropriate career planning can help them prepare for the occupation entry earlier so that they can deal with the problems of employment and pave the way for future career development. However, there is still a lack of academic career planning studies about female graduates, this research has practical meaning, but it can also enrich Career PlanningTheory.Based on the interview and the case studies, the author,as a graduate, who has first-hand experience, developmented research question.By reading and arranging the relevant literature, the thesis is based on the Theory of Occupational Choice. On the basis of previous theory, the career planning questionnaire for the female graduate was made up, which not only has the appropriate structure of previous questionnaire of career planning, but also has two kinds of new factors:the individual psychological factor and the school factor. The researcher selected 180 graduate students from five Educational Disciplines and three grades of H University, and the empirical investigation was carried out by using the questionnaire. At last the author received 152 questionnaires.Although the sample number of different grade and different sex was different, the sample is representative. Unfortunately the number of sample students from History of Education is small. According to the interview of 12 graduate students,12 interview records and 2 cases were written down. The result of the survey shows that the current career planning status of the female graduate is not good, especially the goal setting dimension is the worst. Among demographic variables, the dimension of whether the graduates are Student Leaders is the only item which is significantly correlated with the career planning status of the female graduates. Another problem which should be paid attention to is that the level of career planning firstly goes down then goes up with the grade increased, the career planning status of the second year postgraduate is not good. Among individual psychological factors, discipline loyalty, self-efficacy, the perception of women employment discrimination and the awareness of the importance of career planning education are significantly positively correlated with the career planning status of female graduate. Among School factors, curriculum, the communication status with instructors are related with the career planning status of female graduate. The satisfaction with the school career planning education does not have significant correlation with the career planning status. From the lower satisfaction degree, we can see career planning education of the school is in a lower degree and needs to be improved. According to the problems suggestions are proposed from individuals, faculty and relevant departments of career planning to reduce the differences between different grades and between common students and student leaders. Suggestions are also given on how to increase discipline loyalty, self-efficacy, on how to enhance the perception on women employment discrimination and the importance of career planning education, as well as on how to optimize the curriculum so as to enhance the career planning level of female graduates.Female graduates career planning is a complex issue, the thesis chooses the current career planning status as the entry point to carry out the investigation. The dimensions of the investigation and the factor of problem are complicated, the author's ability is limited, so there are many deficiencies such as the design of the questionnaire is not perfect, the analysis of the problem is not thorough and the suggestion is not mature. All of these should be considered in the future research.
