Blog has been widely accepted by internet fans as an easy-access and simple-operate platform. The impact of Blog is also noticed by educational world. More and more teachers are creating their own blogs. Thus Blog has been extensively applied in education. It also accelerates the growth speed of Blog. The current researches have a consensus that Blog has an inevitable relationship with teachers' professional development. However, does Blog really work as stated? Does it manifest the major effect? How does it actually influence professional development? These are the questions on which this paper aims to research.The selected blog is a good sample since it is very active on the internet. This paper intends to provide a vivid and detailed sample as how the blogger use his blog in work and life. Meanwhile, it explores the real thinking, in terms of the psychological framework, of the blogger. In this way, this paper will try to conclude the contribution of Blog to teacher's professional self-development. As the purpose stated above, this paper covers the teacher's cognition of self-development and how the teacher implements Blog to make accurate evaluation and reflection on educational activities. It also mentions how Blog assists teacher's social communication and collaboration, improves professional level, and expedites teacher's awaken of self-awareness.The methodology is a narrative report researching on the blogger and his blog. It also explores the effectiveness of Blog to the blogger's growth and development. By reading, categorizing, and analyzing the blog's contents and messages, a demonstrative analysis is formed and leads to the conclusion. In all, the implemented methodology concentrates on the blogger's narrative and reflection. Such actions express the concerns on teachers'daily teaching activities and their psychological experience.The sample blog is used to record daily teaching works, reflect educational practices, and express personal comments. It aims to communicate with other teachers, educational researchers, and bloggers who have interests in educational issues. In this research, the author tries to concentrate on how blog influences the blogger's professional development and personal awareness.The connection between Blog and education derives from the Blog's intrinsic functions, including communicating, collecting, sharing, and exchanging. Because Blog is personalized, open, and instant, it now evolves from simple resources sharing to mind and life experience sharing. The sample blog will be a good proof for these characteristics.
