Research On Student Power In University

In recent years, along with the development of the reform of the higher education management system, the establishment of higher education charge system, students became one of higher education activity main bodies, students had the authority to participate in the school manaement.Student power should become an important one in the structure of power,the harmonious university power structure should consist of academic power, administrative power and student power, which is "the separation of powers stands" and keeps in balance. However, the subjectivity of students is not respected and student power is ignored in the university power structure.Facing up to the neglection of student power, it is an important issue for higher education as well as the whole social to build student power guarantee system,protect the operation of student power effectively, strengthen the subjectivity of students, promote university's democratized construction and improve the overall quality of higher education.In this thesis, theory analytic method, comparison methodology, literature analytic method and real diagnosis methodology are used, the ignorance of student power is analyzed,the reasons why student power are ignored are pointed out, and provides the support for construct a guarantee system of student power both in theoretically and practically. The article mainly divides into five parts, the first part mainly introduces the research background and the research significance, the domestic and foreign research summarize as well as the research mentality and the research technique; the second part mainly clarifies the concept of power and student power, and explains the basis of the thesis which are the "Prisoner's Dilemma" model in the game theory and the principal-agent theory of the new institutional economics; in the third part, using real diagnosis methodology,I choose Dalian University of Technology,Northwest A&F University,Shandong University,Tianjin University of Technology and Hebei North University which cover different regions and different types to conduct field surveys by questionnaires and interviews, master of the first-hand information of student power,and carry on the analysis by using the mathematical statistic analysis tool-SPSS analysis software to the questionnaire, point out the present situation of student power in China. Simultaneously, it analyze the reasons why student power are ignored by using the "Prisoner's Dilemma" model in the game theory,the principal-agent theory of the new institutional economics,communication theory in the Journal of the spiral theory and other disciplines; the fourth part elaborates the Western developed country College student power movement's condition and the experience and lessons which we should learn form others;the fifth part proposes the feasible suggestion to protect student power based on investigation and in view of the ignorance of student power.
